Have you heard of iROKOtv?
Well, Jason Njoku is the CEO of that startup, if you must know.
Jason Njokwu is one of the most successful Nigerian entrepreneur, film magnate and African start-up investor.
He is the co-founder and CEO of iROKOtv, one of the early video-on-demand movie platforms for Nigerian/African movies.
One interesting thing about this acclaimed entrepreneur is that IROKO was his 11th attempt at starting a business.
He had the idea of launching a new distribution platform for Nollywood while in his living room at home with his mum at aged 30, after a number of failed enterprises.
So if anyone has one advice or two for entrepreneurs, trust me, it’s Jason.
Jason Njoku had on Wednesday, April 3rd, taken to his Twitter to express his feelings on entrepreneurship which turned out to be one of the most important entrepreneur lessons of all time.
On Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019, Jason Njoku had taken to Twitter as usual to express his feelings about entrepreneurship.
He had said:
“Folks who glamourize entrepreneurship. It’s wrong. Let people know the truth.
This thing will abuse you then completely consume it if you let it. If you win and make dollars. It won’t matter than much. PTSD awaits. Thankfully, I found out early that there is no true happiness there.”
