Since then, the Obio-Akpor born ‘PortHarcourt first son’ has been flying high as Fake Love continues to top the charts.

Talking about timing, the year 2018 has not been rosy all though for Duncan Mighty. He has had to face allegations of violence against his wife Vivien Okechukwu.

If you though mighty was a nickname, you were wrong. When he was given birth to on October 28, 1983, his parents named him Duncan Wene Mighty Okechukwu.
So Duncan Mighty is a real name. Now you know. It’s just that it sounds more like one of those nicknames your classmates give you in secondary school. Lol.
- His first album
At age 25 in 2008, Duncan Mighty released his first album. The debut album was titled. Koliwater.
The Koliwater album was very successful registering Mighty as a bonafide songsmith in Nigeria.
The Koliwater album has 22 songs including Ako Na Uchw, Koli Water Ft Queen of Africa, Ijeoma Ft Bomba Crack Remix, In Case You Never Know Ft Timaya and others.

With his new found fame in the industry in 2018, Duncan Mighty might just drop a surprise album before the end of 2018. Well, that will not be much of a surprise since he drops his albums biennially.

In 2012, Duncan Mighty featured the Jamaica-American Raggea superstar Saggy in a single titled Wine it. The single was off his upcoming album which did very well then.

At The Headies 2011, Duncan Mighty was nominated for the coveted artiste of the year category. That year, other talented artistes had been nominated for the same category. They were Darey, M.I, D’banj and 2 Face Idibia. 2face Idibia won that year.
